Moments in the Mountains is a story that holds a special place in my heart, not only because it’s my first book, but because it reminds me of my childhood. During my childhood, I spent most of my summers in Lebanon. During these summers I would spend a lot of my time in the village of Sofar, the village that my grandfather was raised in. It was there that I noticed, and was intrigued, by the abandoned hotel that lived down the block. During the past year, I was inspired to write a story about the hotel, based upon some true events enlivened with some imagination. I hope that anyone who reads this story enjoys it.
